THE NIGERIA POLICE FORCE DISASSOICATES ITSSELF FROM STICKER BEING SOLD IN SOME STATES ESPECIALLY IMO STATE WITH INSCRIPTION PRESS RELEASE

It has come to the notice the Nigeria Police Force that unscrupulous persons/groups under the guise of Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) or Crime Prevention organizations, have embarked on printing and selling of all kinds of stickers/pamphlets using Police Logo, colour and the pictures of IGP and Force Public Relations Officer, all in the name of Press Release from Force Public Relations Department and partnership with the Nigeria Police Force.

The Nigeria Police Force hereby disassociates itself from such criminal activity and has directed all Zonal Assistant Inspectors-General of Police and State Commissioners of Police to arrest and prosecute any person or groups who engage in this criminal act.

Notwithstanding of the above, the Inspector General of Police, Sir (Dr.) Mike Mbama Okiro, CFR, NPM, mni, wishes to reassure the public that the Force is desirous of its support and partnership in the fight against all forms of crimes and criminality.
