The Nigeria Police Force has graduated 41 Senior Police Officers who participated in the Senior Command Course (SCC) 32/2010, the course designed to upgrade and up-skill Assistant Commissioners of Police and Deputy Commissioners of Police for managerial challenges, ended on the 12th March, 2010. The Inspector-General of Police Ogbonna Okechukwu Onovo, OON, NPM, mni who performed the closing ceremony, congratulated the graduands especially those who successfully completed and passed the prescribed examinations. He informed the audience that, these are the first set of officers who attended and also to write examination during the course, He admonished them to imbibe the tenets of democratic policing, rule of law, accountability, justice and human rights. Present during the closing ceremony were the Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Mrs. Pauline Tallen who represented Plateau State Governor, the Secretary to Plateau State Government and amongst other dignitaries. The participants who were 47 in number were grilled on Strategic planning, Decision making and Conflict Management. However, out of the 47 course participants, six could not make it to the graduation. Certificates were presented to the 41 successful graduands, ACP Emmanuel C.S. Ojukwu, Force Public Relations Officer was adjudged the best all round graduating course participant. With this superlative performance, ACP Ojukwu is re-enacting another feat just as he did when he passed out as a Cadet Officer in 1985.
